Events and Programming Manager
The Events and Programming Manager will report to the Director of Programming and Audience Engagement and manage the planning and logistics for all programming, private rentals, and museum events for Museum members, visitors, donors, board members, and partners. Possessing strong organization and project management skillsets, the Events and Programming Manager will coordinate across all Museum staff and external partners and vendors to deliver superior program and event experiences.

Marketing and Communications Manager
The Marketing and Communications Manager will report to the Managing Director and support all aspects of the Museum’s marketing and communications with its members, visitors, donors, board, and partners. Possessing both strong writing and analytical skillsets, the Marketing and Communications Manager will work across all forms of communications including public relations, presentations, social media, email newsletters, print, and radio.

Education Associate
In this part-time, year-round position, the Education Associate will assist the Education Manager in engaging the Island community through the Museum’s diverse range of Educational programming. Our lessons are aligned with the Massachusetts State Teaching Standards and focus on core Island themes, complementing and enhancing the learning that happens in classrooms. Over the 2023-2024 school year, the Education team engaged with students from all Island schools, hosting 122 field trips and classroom visits.

Development Manager
The Development Manager will be a major contributor to MVM’s success in raising and stewarding the funding that fuels its work and impact across its mission. The Development Manager’s primary responsibility will be donor stewardship, through keeping excellent records, leading systems to ensure strong and consistent donor communication, executing the operations of donor engagement events, and writing donor reports.
